CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT LITWORLD, OUR NEW NOT-FOR-PROFIT INITIATIVE.
LitLife’s dream is that someday, worldwide, every child, boy or girl, will have equal, unrestricted yet organized access to the right to read and write. The school setting can be a powerful sanctuary not only for learning and growth, but for finding one’s sense of home, and one’s sense of community and potential. All children want to learn; it is a natural hunger. All children, all people, love stories. Stories provide comfort to those who most need it. Stories also create a window out into the wider worlds of possibility and imagination. LitLife wants to bring stories to all children who most need them. LitLife is committed to seeking systemic ways to effect systemic change by putting books in the hands of all children, and by bringing professional development opportunities to all teachers in all settings.
We lead programs and develop initiatives that will provide learning havens to all children.
Please join us in any way you can to extend the reach of our own learning lives to those with less access to theirs.
