Laura Rice

Laura Rice, a beloved teacher of language arts in the Hastings middle and high schools, has brought her skills to LitLife. Laura brings her skills to the wide variety of possibilities open when working with older students and their teachers. She works with teachers outside the language arts department to assist them in integrating writing into their curricula, offers workshops on practical and exciting teaching models in the LA classroom, works individually with struggling learners, and generally is an invaluable resource. She is a teacher with tremendous experience who retains a love of learning, a love of teaching, and a deep appreciation for the power of the written word.
